Help spread the truth about Telangana region of India.
Since 1956, when Andhra and Telangana merged, Telangana has gotten the short end of the stick in terms of natural resources, funding and representation in government. Though two major rivers have their sources in Telangana, irrigation projects divert the precious water to other areas. The feelings have often spilled over into violence, and in 1969, 400 people died in Telangana-related violence.
All Telangana people has to make sure that ANDHRA POLITICIANS and ANDHRA BUSINESS TYCOONS should not BUY THE LANDS come under thic projects REGION / AYACUT AREA.
Otherwise the SAME will happen as it was happened with SRSP Project. As soon as TELANGANA was merged with ANDHRA, most ANDHRITES came and settled in and around NZB and ADILABAD dists. under this Projects AYACUT Area.
I have been reading that this project will help all the districts in telangana. How is this helping the villages in Khammam, Warangal, Adilabad. It looks like its only making sure that Hyd gets enough water and luckily Karimnagar and Nizamabad are in its way to get some advantage. However I am happy that it is helpful to atleast some of the villages in telangana.
i dont think it's some.because its around thousands of villages are benifitting by dis project and its very fortunate that interstate disputes are wiped off.i hope dis project will complete soon to help people of telangana.even government should think of flourosis problem in nalgonda and should allot drinking water to nalgonda from nagarjuna sagar.
With chiller Telangana is there any place in the world which spent 2000 MW power for water lifting? Polavaram project generates 1000 MW power free with lots of free water for irrigation just by gravity not a penny spent extra once built. Such an economical project is debated even a nothing to with country like Sri Lanka who will grant and go with a project whose benefits are doubtful? This is like boring a tunnel in Himalayas to connect China with India. You people should be born in USA or Europe to get this project done definitely not in India.
